Esta grasa que contiene m\u00e1s de 30 tipos de compuestos fen\u00f3licos ayudan a reducir el riesgo de padecer enfermedades cr\u00f3nicas, combaten la inflamaci\u00f3n, protegen contra la oxidaci\u00f3n del colesterol de la sangre. Debido a que la grasa del AOVE est\u00e1 compuesta de grasas monoinsaturadas, combate la hipertensi\u00f3n.<\/p>\n<ol start=\"2\">\n<li><strong>Alimentos de origen vegetal<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>Verduras, legumbres, frutas, hortalizas y frutos secos proporcionan fibra, minerales y vitaminas. Al igual que el Aceite de Oliva Virgen Extra, estos alimentos contienen antioxidantes que ayudan a prevenir enfermedades cardiovasculares.<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<ol start=\"3\">\n<li><strong>Cereales<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>Son los encargados de aportar los carbohidratos, la energ\u00eda necesaria para llevar a cabo todas nuestras actividades diarias. Una variante a los cereales, pastas y el arroz es el uso de estos mismos productos integrales. Es recomendable el consumo moderado, a diferencia que los cereales y las verduras. Estas grasas elevan el nivel de colesterol del organismo, lo que aumenta la posibilidad de sufrir ataques cardiacos y accidentes cerebrovasculares. Es desaconsejable el uso de estas grasas.<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<li><strong>Grasas trans:<\/strong> Estas grasas se forman al hidrogenar los aceites vegetales. De esta forma, se cuenta con una grasa solidificada a temperatura ambiente. Al igual que las saturadas, pueden elevar los niveles de colesterol, siendo perjudiciales para el organismo. En los \u00faltimos a\u00f1os los expertos han aconsejado limitar el consumo de alimentos que contengan estas grasas.<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<li><strong>Grasas poliinsaturadas:<\/strong> Se encuentran en alimentos vegetales y animales como el salm\u00f3n. A diferencia de las anteriores, estas grasas no son nocivas para el organismo, incluyen omega-3 y omega-6, grasas necesarias para el crecimiento de las c\u00e9lulas.<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<li><strong>Grasas monoinsaturadas:<\/strong> Al igual que las poliinsaturadas, son grasas que pueden tener beneficios sobre la salud. Las grasas monoinsaturas se encuentran en el Aceite de Oliva Virgen Extra, aguacates o nueces.
